With academic and hands-on training in line producing, I turn a script's ambition into a schedule and a budget that hold. I break scripts down, build and balance budgets, and scale production costs to fit the money in the room, so the story on the page is the story that reaches the screen.

I come from a background of both prose and poetry writing. My academic and hands-on training in filmmaking has allowed me to translate my writing styles into screenplays, which I find to be the best way to merge my poetry into relatable and visual storytelling.

Behind the camera I direct and edit — shaping picture, sound, and color until the rhythm feels right. My directing grows from the same instinct as my writing: find the image that makes an idea felt, not just understood.
